Marshall & le Sherif are a duo of Brussels based artists playing with the audiovisual medium.
Since they met during their film studies, Claire Beunckens and Boris Wilmot have worked together to create several music videos, movies and plastic works.

It was after the pandemic that their couple became a duo. They break down their barriers and put experimentation at the center of their work. Sound, plastic or cinematographic, their search for meaning in a world in dissolution goes through the aesthetics and lightness of a velvet glove sheltering an iron fist.

Seamlessly blending their influences, which range from baroque aesthetics to the photographs of Martin Parr, from Zuli to Sinead O'connor, via the films of Ulrich Seidl and the performances of Ryoji Ikeda, they plunge us into a world of conscious party or of festive consciousness, a mess that is always aesthetic and full of meaning.
