GroeiGrouille is a video installation
showing scans of decomposing fruits.
As the matter transforms, the rot reveals an intense and unsuspected life : liquefaction of flesh, proliferation of worms, organic mutations in perpetual becoming.

More than just a documentary observation, the images slowly crawl towards abstraction. The textures, colors and movements coming out of the degradation compose hypnotic, almost pictorial tableaux, where the boundary between repulsion and fascination dissolves.

The rot is not an end anymore, but a space for transformation and visual rebirth.
Our look lingers on those unstable landscapes, where life persists, reinvents itself and disrupts our relationship to beauty, time and death.
